I just realized the calendar widget on this page is broken, so you probably don't know about the one El Donk show of the year which is just for YOU! You won't have to leave your house, car, compound, or fallout shelter to hear it—because for 2 HOURS this Sunday, we will be LIVE on the radio. It doesn't even bump-up against the Packer game, because the Pack are on MNF! SWEET.

We will be talkin' jive and playin' live on 91.7 WSUM's Support Your Scene, from 1pm to 3pm this Sunday. Can't get WSUM on the radio? No problem, there's a live internet stream.

Should be interesting!

Oh ye loyal El Donk-ian fans, have I got a treat for you! Last night I had the opportunity to hear release candidate 1 for El Donk's upcoming release (I'm not sure what the name is yet.) It was recorded at both the Annex and the Cardinal Bar in late '08, early '09. Recorded, Engineered, and Produced by the inestimable Studio Earth.

Hmmm.... apparently my "wait it out and let other band personnel update the website" ploy has been totally ineffective. I guess it's up to me.

El Donk is busy this summer. Busy playing shows, prepping for the new CD, avoiding the lassitude caused by the summer heat. All these things shall pass, and I'm here to announce a couple gigs.

August 29th, we're playing at the Children's Miracle Network Balloon Rally in Wisconsin Rapids. All I can tell you is that the schedule for August 29th says "5:00pm - El Donk - Beer Tent" which all I really need to know.

For the third year in a row, we've been asked to play at T. Murtaugh's in Minocqua. This year, it's over Labor Day Weekend: Friday and Saturday Nights. No cover. Friendly FIBs (and locals.) A good time will be had by all.
